Play Reading - Monday 5 September 2016 - Ten Sketches by David Campton

Our next play reading is on Monday 5 September, at the Centrepoint Library, Im Lohnhof 8, 4051 Basel.  Members and non-members are welcome - free of charge.

We will read Ten Sketches by David Campton (1924-2006).  David was a prolific British dramatist who wrote over 130 plays for stage, radio and cinema.  He is considered to be one of the first British absurdist dramatists.  Possibly one of his most popular one-act plays among amateur theatre groups is "The Cagebirds" which was performed by Semi-Circle in 2006.

You can arrive any time after 7pm.  The reading will begin promptly at 7.30pm.  Centrepoint shares its entrance with the Musik Museum and can be found by walking through a church courtyard into a smaller courtyard.  The shared entrance is on the right hand side - then follow the Semi-Circle signs upstairs to the Library.
